AgriInsurance
If you’re just getting started, your first step is to apply for an AgriInsurance policy to insure your crops. Applications must be made in-person at an MASC Service Centre by March 31 of the growing year.
For more information, read more on AgriInsurance.
Hail Insurance
You must have an AgriInsurance policy by March 31 to be eligible for Hail Insurance. With an AgriInsurance policy activated, you can then apply for Hail Insurance coverage. You can sign up for Hail Insurance any time during the crop year before October 21, when coverage terminates (if the crop has not already been harvested or destroyed).
For more information, read more on Hail Insurance.
Forage Insurance
If you do not currently have Forage Insurance, the deadline to apply for an AgriInsurance policy or to add forage crop coverage to your existing policy is March 31 of the crop year. If you currently have Forage Insurance, your policy will automatically renew each year (until you provide notice to cancel).
For more information, read more on Forage Insurance.
Livestock Price Insurance
See the Livestock Price Insurance page for more information to apply for a Livestock Price Insurance policy in Manitoba.
Overwinter Bee Mortality Insurance
Visit an MASC Service Centre to apply for Overwinter Bee Mortality Insurance coverage. August 31 is the last day to apply for or cancel an Overwinter Bee Mortality Insurance policy.
